Job title: HVAC Automation Commissioning Engineer (M/F)
Role summary: Lead and manage commissioning of HVAC automation systems on construction sites, ensuring compliance with pharma industry standards (BPF/GMP). Drive multidisciplinary teams, coordinate project milestones, conduct site acceptance tests, and deliver final documentation.
Expectations:
- Deliver turnkey HVAC automation solutions within scheduled timelines.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to on‑site automation staff.
Key responsibilities:
1. Supervise and coach a team of internal and subcontracted automation engineers.
2. Plan and allocate resources, manage programming version control, and validate work quality against technical specs.
3. Monitor critical project milestones, verify daily site prerequisites, and log technical, organizational, and scheduling deviations.
4. Prepare, execute, and oversee Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for HVAC systems, ensuring alignment with contractual and pharma regulatory demands.
5. Manage qualification documentation, resolve defects, and drive issue clearance.
6. Enforce site safety standards, conduct training on PPE, controlled zones, and signage.
7. Act as primary liaison for client and partner communications, attend project meetings, and report status.
8. Lead system startup, perform functional tests, validate adjustments, and produce final technical delivery (DOE, SAT reports).
Required skills:
- In‑depth knowledge of HVAC automation, industrial protocols (BACnet, Modbus, PROFIBUS, etc.).
- Proven experience in GMP/BPF qualified commissioning and SAT in pharmaceutical environments.
- Strong leadership, team coordination, and project management abilities.
- Excellent documentation, problem‑solving, and compliance tracking.
- Proficiency in English; French is an advantage but not mandatory.
Required education & certifications:
- Electrotechnical qualification (minimum H0/B0 or equivalent).
- Training or experience with BPF/GMP standards preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related field.
