Job title: Corporate M&A Senior Associate Role Summary: Provide legal support on complex public and private mergers & acquisitions and private equity transactions, advising on negotiation, due‑diligence, documentation, and regulatory compliance for diverse clients. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality legal work on time, collaborate across teams, engage in continuous development, and advance toward senior leadership roles. Key Responsibilities: - Draft, review and negotiate transaction agreements, schedules, and ancillary documents. - Lead and conduct due‑diligence investigations and legal risk assessments. - Advise on structuring, financing, and regulatory approvals of deals. - Liaise with clients, advisors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction execution. - Prepare supporting materials and presentations for client meetings. - Participate in business development activities and client relationship management. - Engage in training, mentorship, and professional development programmes. Required Skills: - Strong legal drafting and analytical skills. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and client‑service abilities. - Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and workloads. - Detail oriented with proactive problem‑solving capabilities. - Collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary teamwork. Required Education & Certifications: - Qualified lawyer registered with the SRA or Law Society of Scotland. - Demonstrated experience in Corporate M&A and private equity transactions.
