Job title:
Senior AI / ML Engineer
Role Summary:
Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions for healthcare. Lead end‑to‑end ML lifecycle, collaborate cross‑functionally, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor junior staff.
Expactations:
- Lead technical architecture and best practices for AI/ML.
- Foster strong collaboration between product, clinical, data, and engineering teams.
- Maintain high standards of data privacy and regulatory adherence (HIPAA, PHI).
- Ensure robust deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, prototype, and deploy production‑ready AI/ML models for healthcare use cases.
- Own the full ML pipeline: data preparation, feature engineering, model training, validation, and deployment.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers on technical decisions and industry practices.
- Plan and execute model monitoring, performance tuning, and scalability enhancements.
- Communicate complex AI concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- 15+ years in AI, ML, data science, or software engineering.
- Deep healthcare domain expertise, including regulatory and data privacy requirements.
- Proficient in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn).
- Experience with large‑scale data processing and model deployment in production.
- Strong fundamentals in statistics, ML algorithms, and evaluation metrics.
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Required Education & Certifications:
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI, ML, Data Science, or related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications in cloud platforms or ML engineering are advantageous.
