Job Description
Job Title: ServiceNow Certified System Developer Role Summary: Design, develop, and deploy ServiceNow solutions that meet business requirements across ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, and other modules. Provide technical leadership, execute best‑practice architecture, and ensure secure, scalable, high‑performing implementations. Expectations: - Deliver fully functional ServiceNow enhancements on schedule. - Maintain version control, coding standards, and documentation. - Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes. Key Responsibilities: - Architect scalable ServiceNow platforms and roadmap plans. - Lead workshops to gather business and technical requirements. - Configure, customize, and optimize ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, CSM, HRSD, FSM, S2P). - Script using JavaScript, Glide API, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Business Rules, and Flow Designer. - Design and implement integrations via REST, SOAP, MID Server, and APIs. - Manage instance upgrades, patches, performance tuning, and data synchronization. - Draft and enforce development standards, coding guidelines, and governance models. - Conduct code reviews, ensure architecture compliance, and produce technical documentation. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support digital transformation initiatives. Required Skills: - ServiceNow platform expertise and best‑practice implementation. - Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and Workflow automation. - Integration knowledge (REST, SOAP, MID Server, APIs). - Experience with ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, CSM, HRSD, FSM, S2P. - Performance Analytics, Reporting, and CMDB familiarity. - Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and effective stakeholder communication. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Required. - ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Preferred. - ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) – Preferred.
