Job Description: **Job Title:** Senior Software Engineer **Role Summary** Lead development of large-scale applications and data-driven solutions for analytics platforms, inventory pricing integrations, and operational strategy productionalization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, data engineers, scientists, and analysts. **Expectations** Own complex technical challenges, demonstrate strong problem-solving ownership, and stay adaptable to evolving technologies. Active participation in agile workflows and end-to-end software lifecycle management is required. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, enhance, and maintain large-scale applications and RESTful APIs/serverless functions using Python and frameworks like FastAPI. - Implement and optimize data storage solutions using SQL/NoSQL technologies. - Participate in agile ceremonies, including planning, estimation, user story reviews, and retrospectives. - Ensure code quality, performance, security, and compliance with industry best practices. - Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to team-driven quality assurance. - Oversee deployment processes, release management, and post-release monitoring/troubleshooting. - Integrate security and compliance into application design and component development. **Required Skills** - 5+ years of Python development experience. - Proficiency in RESTful API design and integration. - Experience with Python API frameworks (FastAPI, Flask). - 5+ years of application design, including design patterns (event-driven, domain-driven). - 3+ years of cloud deployment (AWS, Azure). - 3+ years of high-traffic application development. - Familiarity with continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools and test automation. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/ Electrical Engineering, or related field.
