Job Description
**Job title:** Pricing Strategy Analyst **Role Summary:** Drive and execute monetization, pricing, packaging, and net‑revenue management strategies for a SaaS organization. Translate complex data into actionable recommendations, build predictive models and dashboards, and influence cross‑functional go‑to‑market decisions to maximize top‑line revenue. **Expactations:** - Own end‑to‑end pricing initiatives from hypothesis design to rollout. - Deliver data‑driven business cases that shape pricing decisions. - Communicate insights and status updates clearly to senior leadership and stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and test strategic pricing hypotheses; conduct interviews and analyses to produce high‑impact recommendations. - Develop predictive models, statistical analyses, and performance dashboards for ongoing pricing optimization. - Perform deep quantitative/qualitative analysis of pricing performance, usage patterns, and revenue trends; write and optimize complex SQL/BI queries. - Align and coordinate pricing initiatives with Operations, Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Technology teams; define business requirements for quoting, invoicing, and reporting systems. - Prepare and deliver concise status reports and presentations to leadership. - Gather GTM feedback on pricing enablement; contribute to training content and sales enablement materials. **Required Skills:** - Advanced Excel proficiency; strong analytical toolkit (SQL, R, Python, Looker or similar). - Experience with B2B SaaS/subscription pricing or monetization strategy. - Ability to conduct primary pricing research (e.g., conjoint, Gabor‑Granger). - Excellent structured problem‑solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. - Self‑starter attitude, learner’s mindset, and bias for action in fast‑paced environments. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline. - 2+ years of experience in pricing, business operations, financial analysis, or management consulting with a focus on pricing/monetization.
