Job Description
**Job Title**: Technical Wiring Technician **Role Summary**: Execute precise wiring of automated test fixture products, following engineering schematics, process plans, and quality standards. Perform manual assembly tasks, test verification, and documentation while ensuring compliance with security and quality requirements. **Expectations**: - Deliver high‑quality wiring projects on schedule with minimal errors. - Adhere to all company policies, security protocols, and industry regulations. - Maintain accurate manufacturing records and deviation logs. **Key Responsibilities**: - Read and interpret manufacturing requirements, schematics, wire lists, and specifications. - Perform manual assembly operations: crimping, soldering, wire stripping, and component installation. - Test assemblies using digital multimeters, Cirrus testers, oscilloscopes, and power supplies. - Complete electronic and hard‑copy documentation prior to fixture delivery. - Record deviations, modifications, and provide feedback to customers, engineers, and account managers. - Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives. - Manage time tracking and inspection records accurately. - Work within security‑protected projects and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. - Assemble, wire, and troubleshoot modular products, tabletop, and standalone test platforms. **Required Skills**: - Excellent manual soldering, crimping, and manipulation abilities. - Proficient reading of wiring diagrams, schematics, wire lists, and datasheets. - Ability to interpret CAD and SolidWorks drawings. - Strong written and verbal communication. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). - Experience with bench‑top lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters), soldering stations, rework stations, and variable power supplies. - Ability to work independently and in a team, handling multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Associate’s degree (2 years) in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field. - Minimum five years of wiring technician experience with electronic/electromechanical products. - IPC J‑STD‑001 and IPC A‑620 certifications (desired). ---
