**Job title:** Manager, Business Development
**Role Summary:**
Lead and scale a U.S.-focused outbound B2B SaaS sales team. Train, coach, and manage a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to drive qualified lead generation, pipeline development, and meeting scheduling for the Account Executive team across the U.S. market.
**Expectations:**
- Achieve and exceed monthly pipeline generation targets.
- Build a high‑performing, motivated BDR team capable of sourcing and qualifying new accounts.
- Drive continuous process improvement for outbound prospecting.
- Align regional GTM strategy with company commercial objectives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Recruit, onboard, and train new BDRs; conduct hiring interviews and initial training.
2. Coach weekly, maintain performance dashboards, and conduct regular coaching sessions.
3. Define and refine outbound prospecting processes across phone, email, LinkedIn, events, and other channels.
4. Optimize usage of sales tools (Salesloft, Outreach, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
5. Set and monitor quarterly/annual pipeline goals, reporting progress to senior leadership.
6. Collaborate with General Manager and Head of Marketing to sync GTM, messaging, and campaign cadence.
7. Foster a competitive, collaborative team culture that encourages ownership and results.
8. Monitor and report on broader business initiatives, ensuring alignment with priority objectives.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years outbound B2B Tech/SaaS sales experience at mid‑market level or higher.
- 3+ years managing outbound SDR/BDR teams with demonstrable results.
- Proven track record hiring, training, and motivating high‑performing sales teams.
- Expertise in prospecting across all channels, with strong knowledge of SPICED, Challenger Sales, and Sandler Pain Funnel methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in Salesloft/Outreach, Salesforce, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical mindset for process optimization and pipeline reporting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑changing, high‑growth environment.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
- Relevant sales certifications (e.g., Sandler, Challenger, SPICED) preferred but not mandatory.
