Job Description
Job title: Head of Account Management Role Summary: Strategic leader responsible for driving revenue growth, client retention, and upsell opportunities across Goodfit’s existing account base while building and guiding a high‑performance account management team. Expections: 5+ years of client account management experience, 2+ years managing a team; proven track record of renewals, upsells, and cross‑sell success; strong coaching, data‑driven performance management, and ability to partner cross‑functionally in a fast‑moving SaaS environment. Key Responsibilities: - Own and execute the renewal, upsell, and expansion strategy for all existing accounts. - Set team KPIs, monitor performance, and ensure revenue targets are met or exceeded. - Line‑manage a small team (currently 2 members), overseeing hiring, onboarding, coaching, and professional development. - Maintain direct, strategic relationships with key accounts, leading complex renewal negotiations and identifying expansion opportunities. - Serve as the client advisor on GTM best practices and product fit, collaborating with Product, Marketing, and Sales to translate client needs into program enhancements. - Lead cross‑functional initiatives to streamline processes, embed best practices, and improve operational efficiency. Required Skills: - Strategic account strategy and execution in B2B SaaS. - Proven ability to drive renewals, upsells, and cross‑sell revenue. - Strong coaching, performance management, and team development acumen. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills. - Data‑driven KPI definition, goal setting, and progress tracking. - Adaptability to a startup‑scale environment with rapid change and ownership of initiatives. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Relevant certifications in account management, sales enablement, or professional development are a plus.
