Job Description

**Job Title:** Software Development Intern **Role Summary** 14-week Summer 2025 internship focused on software development within a Scrum-based team, analyzing, testing, and implementing programming applications. Interns will learn PenLink’s technologies and Agile/Scrum methodologies. **Expectations** - Develop high-quality, scalable code aligned with corporate standards and best practices. - Adhere to team sprint goals, ensuring timely completion of work items. - Execute software performance testing, code reviews, and collaborate on Scrum workflows. **Key Responsibilities** - Analyze, test, assess, and implement programming applications. - Conduct subsystem stress tests to identify performance limits. - Perform code reviews for peer work and address additional assigned tasks. - Participate in Scrum ceremonies and apply Agile software development principles. **Required Skills** - Programming: C#, .NET, WPF, XAML. - Tools: Visual Studio, GitHub. - Software development methodologies: Agile/Scrum, SDLC. - Communication: Clear written and verbal skills. - Analytical: Detail-oriented problem-solving and organizational capabilities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related 4-year technical field (currently in progress). - Familiarity with C#, .NET, WPF, XAML, Visual Studio, or GitHub preferred but not mandatory.
