**Job Title**: MuleSoft Developer / Lead
**Role Summary**
Lead the design, development, and deployment of MuleSoft integration solutions that connect Salesforce with core banking systems. Provide technical direction, mentor team members, and ensure high‑quality, secure, and scalable APIs for the Credit Center business unit.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in enterprise integration, with a focus on MuleSoft.
- Proven background integrating Salesforce with external systems (REST, SOAP, batch, streaming).
- In‑depth knowledge of banking or financial services domain (credit, loan, risk, compliance).
- Strong leadership and communication skills; experience managing or mentoring a small technical team.
- Ability to deliver high‑quality code, documentation, and testing in a regulated environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft APIs that expose Salesforce data and business processes to internal/external partners.
2. Lead the integration architecture for the Credit Center, ensuring performance, security, and compliance with banking regulations.
3. Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices for MuleSoft development.
4. Collaborate with Salesforce architects and business analysts to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
6. Manage API lifecycle (versioning, deprecation, retirement) and maintain API Manager dashboards and analytics.
7. Continuously improve integration processes by evaluating new MuleSoft features, patterns, and automation tools.
8. Provide technical guidance during architecture reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
**Required Skills**
- MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4.x) – design, deployment, API Manager, DataWeave.
- Salesforce integration (Apex, SOAP/REST APIs, Connected Apps, middleware).
- Java (8+), RESTful & SOAP web services, JSON/XML, database connectivity (JDBC).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
- Strong understanding of security standards (OAuth 2.0, SAML, TLS, data encryption).
- Performance tuning, caching, and asynchronous processing (queues, events).
- Agile/Scrum development methodology.
- Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication; ability to document designs and runbooks.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- MuleSoft Certified Developer – Mule 4 (MCD-DEVELOPER-4).
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II or Salesforce Certified Administrator (preferred).
- Banking or financial services domain certification or demonstrable experience is highly desirable.
