Job Description
**Job Title:** Business Development Manager **Role Summary:** Drive revenue growth by generating new business opportunities and expanding existing client relationships within the emergency services and restoration market. Execute the company’s proven sales model, meet or exceed conversion and KPI targets, and represent the organization at industry events and networking functions. **Expectations:** - Achieve sales targets and KPI metrics for lead generation, meeting conversions, and face‑to‑face activity. - Build and maintain a robust book of business across the assigned region. - Travel 100% within the territory, including occasional overnight trips and evening/weekend events. - Accurately document all sales activities in Salesforce. - Collaborate with marketing and senior leadership on advertising, association involvement, and event planning. **Key Responsibilities:** - Identify, present to, and sell company services to new prospects. - Nurture and expand existing relationships to increase lead volume and average job size. - Maintain active membership in targeted industry associations; pursue leadership or committee roles. - Prepare and deliver proposals, contingency plans, and sales presentations. - Follow the established sales process and meet Sanktum KPI standards. - Partner with the sales team on BluSky Live seminars and other joint initiatives. - Work with leadership to plan association involvement, budgets, and advertising strategies. - Represent the company at trade shows, charitable events, golf tournaments, and other networking activities. - Provide high‑level internal and external customer service and uphold company culture. **Required Skills:** - Minimum 3 years outside sales experience (restoration industry preferred). - Proven ability to generate leads, close sales, and meet targets. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office (intermediate) and CRM platforms (Salesforce or equivalent). - Strong communication, networking, and relationship‑building skills. - Self‑motivated, tenacious, team‑oriented attitude with a willingness to work evenings/weekends. - Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred (not mandatory). - No specific certifications required.
