**Job Title**
Network Engineer – User Connectivity
**Role Summary**
Oversee day‑to‑day operation, maintenance, and evolution of LAN/WLAN/Wi‑Fi, routing, switching, and firewall infrastructures that deliver secure, high‑availability connectivity to end users. Provide technical support, coordinate with partners, and drive projects toward SDN‑compatible solutions while ensuring optimal user experience and compliance with security standards.
**Expectations**
* Minimum 5 years of hands‑on network engineering experience focused on user‑connectivity technologies.
* Proven ability to design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WLAN/Wi‑Fi/WAN solutions with strong security, stability, and QoS requirements.
* Openness to expanding skill set across multi‑technology environments (fiber/WDM, load balancers, advanced security).
* Operate in an autonomous, rigorous, and service‑oriented manner, producing clear reports and documentation.
* Fluent in operational English; on‑call availability may be required.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Operations & Ongoing Maintenance** –
* Manage LAN, WLAN, Wi‑Fi, routing, switching, and firewall assets.
* Perform patching, backups, hardening, supervision, and IPAM management.
* Maintain operational readiness and security compliance.
2. **Project & Evolution Management** –
* Standardize network solutions across multiple sites.
* Design, test, and deploy user‑connectivity enhancements, including SDN pilots.
* Lead POCs to evaluate emerging technologies.
3. **Support & Coordination** –
* Provide technical support for all network‑related issues.
* Produce and keep technical documentation up‑to‑date.
* Liaise with operators, vendors, and integrators on technical matters.
**Required Skills**
* Network Access Control (NAC)
* Wi‑Fi deployment & LAN/WLAN architecture
* Routing, switching, firewall configuration and security hardening
* IPAM, network supervision, and authentication tools
* MCO processes: patching, backups, supervision, hardening
* Technical documentation and reporting
* POC design, testing, and technology evaluation
* Partner relationship management (operators, equipment suppliers)
* Curiosity, autonomy, rigor, strong communication, and service orientation
**Required Education & Certifications**
* Minimum bachelor’s level education (Bac + 2 or equivalent).
* At least 5 years of professional network engineering experience.
* Relevant certifications preferable (e.g., CCNA/CCNP, Wi‑Fi, security).
