Job Description
Job title: Data Scientist Role Summary: Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of a data analytics infrastructure that supports product and business decision‑making in a fast‑growing SaaS environment. Own end‑to‑end responsibilities from data stack definition, pipeline construction, experimentation, to visualization and insight delivery across engineering, product, and business teams. Expectations: - Demonstrated data science or product analytics experience (minimum 1 year). - Proven ability to build and operationalize metrics from scratch. - Strong statistical foundation and experience with large, complex datasets. - Excellent communication skills for technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Design and set up data and experimentation stack, ensuring scalability and cleanliness. - Partner with engineering to deliver reliable, deployable data pipelines. - Champion data‑driven culture by establishing best practices. - Analyze user journeys, behaviors, and product trends to inform roadmap. - Design, launch, and evaluate A/B tests and data‑led product features. - Create and maintain production‑grade dashboards for self‑serve access. - Translate complex analyses into clear visual stories that influence decisions. - Collaborate across teams to define model requirements and refine metrics. - Communicate insights to product managers, engineers, executives, marketing, and sales. Required Skills: - Expertise in SQL. - Proficiency in one scripting language (Python or R). - Knowledge of statistical modeling and experimentation design. - Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI). - Strong problem‑solving and collaborative mindset. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or related quantitative field. - No mandatory certifications, but familiarity with data science or analytics certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, AWS Big Data) is a plus.
