Job Description

Job Title: Payments Solutions Architect Role Summary: Architect and deliver end‑to‑end payment and financial services technology solutions that align with business and technology strategy for a Tier 1 investment bank. Expectations: - Collaborate across a global, cross‑functional team. - Drive automation, data‑driven analysis, and technical solution design in a fast‑paced environment. - Mentor and influence stakeholders on best practices in payments architecture. Key Responsibilities: - Design scalable payment, accounting, liquidity, receivables, trade supply‑chain, and commercial card architectures. - Evaluate, select, and integrate payment platforms, APIs, and middleware. - Lead automation initiatives and develop causal analysis models. - Partner with product, data science, and operations to translate business requirements into technical specifications. - Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards. - Document architecture, processes, and knowledge for shared team ownership. Required Skills: - 5+ years of experience in payments or financial services technology/product management. - Deep domain knowledge in payments, accounting services, liquidity management, receivables, trade supply‑chain finance, and commercial cards. - Proven ability to design and implement automated, data‑centric solutions. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. - Experience working in a global, matrixed organization. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or related field. - Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI, or industry‑specific) are advantageous.
