**Job Title** Design and Media Officer **Role Summary** Full‑time Graphic Designer and Media Officer supporting the European Conservatives and Reformists Group’s press and media team. Responsible for producing high‑quality visual content across social media, print, web, and video platforms, and contributing to strategic communication planning. **Expectations** * Deliver professional design and media assets for campaigns and everyday communications. * Operate independently while collaborating effectively with the communications team. * Maintain strict discretion, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. **Key Responsibilities** * Design and produce social media graphics, posters, website elements, newsletters, brochures, flyers, display ads, and other print materials. * Create and edit photographs and videos, including post‑production. * Develop and adapt visual concepts and image strategies for online and offline campaigns. * Contribute to brainstorming, strategy development, and planning sessions within the Communications Team. * Support the overall functioning of the group’s press and media operations. **Required Skills** * Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere), Figma, or equivalent. * Strong photography skills with post‑production experience. * Excellent visual aesthetic sense, typography knowledge, and attention to detail. * Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and prioritize workload. * Fluent in English (written and verbal). * Independent, reliable, responsible, and able to work under discretion. * Good organisational and time‑management skills. * Knowledge of digital and offline campaigning techniques, and awareness of EU institutions and policy context is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications** * Post‑secondary degree in communication, media, journalism, political science, or a related field **OR** a secondary education diploma that qualifies for post‑secondary education plus at least three years of relevant professional experience. * Minimum of 1 year of experience in design and media production. * No specific certifications required.
