**Job Title:** Senior Software Engineer **Role Summary:** Leads technical strategy and decision‑making for assigned domains within a fast‑growing healthcare technology platform. Builds, optimizes, and maintains AI‑driven software systems on AWS and Kubernetes while ensuring data privacy, security, and HIPAA compliance. Mentors early‑career engineers and collaborates cross‑functionally to deliver high‑impact solutions. **Expactations:** - 4+ years of professional software engineering experience. - Generalist mindset with ability to quickly learn new languages, frameworks, and tools. - Proven experience building complex systems using AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code). - Strong understanding of data security and HIPAA compliance. - Demonstrated mentorship and ability to elevate junior team members. - High sense of urgency, accountability, and commitment to authentic feedback. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and drive technical strategy for designated product areas. - Design, develop, and maintain AI‑enhanced services and infrastructure. - Mentor and upskill early‑career engineers. - Collaborate with product, data, and operations teams to translate domain knowledge into functional solutions. - Implement and enforce best practices for user privacy, security, and regulatory compliance. - Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and adoption of emerging technologies. **Required Skills:** - Software development (4+ years) in a cloud environment (AWS). - Container orchestration with Kubernetes. - Experience with AI coding tools (Claude Code) and AI integration. - Proficiency with data pipelines/orchestration (Airflow, dlt, dbt). - Knowledge of HIPAA, data security standards, and privacy best practices. - Strong problem‑solving, communication, and mentorship abilities. - Ability to work remotely with occasional on‑site collaboration. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus but not mandatory.
