**Job Title:** Senior Business Central Consultant (Finance)
**Role Summary:**
Senior consultant responsible for leading finance‑focused Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central implementations, upgrades, and optimisation projects. Works directly with senior finance stakeholders to design, configure, and deliver solutions that ensure strong financial control, reporting, and compliance. Acts as a trusted advisor and mentor to junior team members.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver end‑to‑end finance ERP projects with ownership of scope, timeline, and quality.
- Communicate effectively with finance leaders and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Operate autonomously and within project teams, adhering to governance and risk standards.
- Travel to client sites and occasional office locations as required.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead Business Central finance implementations, upgrades, and improvement programmes.
- Design and configure core finance processes (GL, AP, AR, Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Reporting).
- Conduct discovery workshops, gather requirements, and perform fit‑gap analysis.
- Translate business needs into functional designs and system configurations.
- Provide senior‑level support during UAT, go‑live, and post‑implementation optimisation.
- Advise clients on scalable, compliant finance best practices.
- Mentor and support junior consultants.
- Contribute to project governance, risk management, and delivery quality.
**Required Skills:**
- Extensive experience delivering Dynamics NAV/Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions with a finance focus.
- Deep functional knowledge of core finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Cash, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Reporting).
- Proven client‑facing consulting experience in finance transformation projects.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; comfortable engaging senior finance stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional services environment.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MB‑600 Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant) preferred but not mandatory.
