Job Description
**Job Title:** Manager of Technology Services **Role Summary:** Lead a multidisciplinary IT team to drive digital transformation, enhance cybersecurity, and align technology services with organizational goals. Ensure secure, efficient IT operations while fostering innovation and operational efficiency. **Expectations:** - Manage end-to-end technology functions (cloud platforms, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, data analytics, and Service Desk). - Deliver measurable business value through cloud modernization, application integration, and strategic IT leadership. - Align IT initiatives with business priorities, enabling efficiency and client service improvements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and mentor IT staff across cloud, analytics, cybersecurity, and Service Desk operations. - Oversee enterprise application lifecycles (finance, HR, payroll, scheduling, CRM) and optimize performance. - Implement cloud modernization projects ensuring scalability, security, and cost efficiency. - Strengthen cybersecurity frameworks (NIST 800, CIS Controls, PIPEDA) and maintain compliance. - Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to maximize ROI and ensure compliance. - Input into IT budgets, forecasts, and ROI analysis for strategic decision-making. - Govern IT service management (ITIL) and Service Desk practices for customer-focused support. - Champion organizational change and guide technology transitions without service disruptions. **Required Skills:** - Strong leadership and team management in IT settings. - Proven ability to align technology with business objectives and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Expertise in data governance, analytics, and self-service tools. - Strategic planning and problem-solving for complex IT challenges. - Vendor negotiation and contract management capabilities. - Change leadership in technology transitions and high-pressure environments. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Mandatory: ITIL Practice Manager certification and Cloud certification (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud). - Security Clearance: Must obtain and maintain Government of Canada Secret Level Clearance. - Languages: English required; French preferred. - Minimum 7 years’ IT management experience in digital transformation, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems.
