**Job Title:** Technology Internship
**Role Summary:**
12‑week, full‑time internship (June 29 – Sept 4 2026) in a London office, working alongside development teams on high‑impact technology projects across finance, operations, risk, trading, and portfolio management. Participants gain hands‑on experience with dev‑ops, data engineering, cyber security, web development, business intelligence, software engineering, and stream processing while building an understanding of financial markets.
**Expectations:**
- Demonstrate innovative problem‑solving and creative use of technology.
- Show strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
- Proactively take ownership of tasks and work autonomously when appropriate.
- Maintain high academic performance and a willingness to learn from senior staff.
- Ability to present project outcomes to the Technology team at internship end.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Contribute to the design, development, and testing of software solutions (e.g., AI tool integration, UI visualisation, alert tooling).
- Partner with a peer and the proposing team to deliver a defined project from concept to deployment.
- Participate in induction, mentorship sessions, and regular seminars with senior managers.
- Engage in performance reviews, provide progress updates, and deliver a final project presentation.
- Support team activities, including charitable events and social initiatives, as required.
**Required Skills:**
- Proficient programming skills (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, or equivalent).
- Basic understanding of dev‑ops, data pipelines, cyber security principles, web development, or BI concepts.
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Self‑motivation, curiosity, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (any discipline); open to first‑year and penultimate‑year students.
