Job Description
Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for precision weighing and automation systems used globally in pharmaceutical, healthcare, and industrial sectors. Expactations: Deliver reliable, high‑performance code; collaborate closely with hardware and systems teams; adhere to industry safety and quality standards; support the full product lifecycle from concept through maintenance. Key Responsibilities: - Write and maintain embedded software in C/C++. - Design and debug firmware for sensors, actuators, and communication interfaces (CAN, Modbus, Ethernet, etc.). - Perform unit, integration, and system testing. - Work with hardware engineers on PCB design and firmware integration. - Produce and maintain technical documentation, validation plans, and release notes. - Troubleshoot and resolve production issues; propose improvements. Required Skills: - Proficiency in embedded C/C++ programming. - Experience with real‑time operating systems (e.g., FreeRTOS, µC/OS‑II). - Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and hardware interfacing. - Familiarity with debugging tools (JTAG, oscilloscope, logic analyzer). - Version control expertise (Git). - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., ARM Accredited Engineer) or coursework in embedded systems preferred.
