Job title: Workday System Administrator
Role Summary:
Manage, maintain, and optimize the Workday environment while serving as the internal subject‑matter expert. Provide end‑to‑end support for Workday and UKG Time & Attendance under a managed‑service model, ensuring seamless integration, data integrity, and compliance across HR, finance, and workforce management systems.
Expectations:
* Administer and enhance Workday configuration, modules, and integrations.
* Act as primary support contact and training resource for Workday users.
* Coordinate with UKG managed service to maintain accurate timekeeping, scheduling, and reporting.
* Uphold security, compliance, and data governance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Workday administration – configure modules (HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, Financials), manage releases, test, and deploy changes.
2. Business process, security, and integration management – design workflows, set security roles, administer integrations (payroll, benefits, ERP), create custom reports and dashboards.
3. System performance and data integrity – perform audits, resolve discrepancies, enforce governance, and support regulatory compliance.
4. UKG Time & Attendance support – oversee configuration of time rules, schedules, shift differentials, conduct reconciliations, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with managed service provider.
5. User support, training, change management, and enhancements – deliver training, document changes, and drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills:
* 3+ years of Workday system administration experience.
* 2+ years of hands‑on UKG Time & Attendance administration.
* Strong knowledge of timekeeping rules, scheduling logic, and compliance.
* Ability to design business processes, manage integrations, and develop reports.
* Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
* Experience coordinating with managed service providers and vendors.
Required Education & Certifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
* Workday certification (e.g., Workday Pro) preferred.
* Knowledge of Workday Studio, EIBs, and integration tools; SQL or other data analysis tools beneficial.
