Job Description

Job title: Software Engineer (Frontend) Role Summary Senior frontend engineer responsible for designing, building, and scaling production‑grade web applications within a fast‑moving, data‑oriented product. Owns end‑to‑end feature development, collaborates closely with product and backend teams, and drives the full software development lifecycle. Expactations • 5+ years commercial experience shipping high‑quality web applications • Lead ownership of core product features and architectural decisions • Balance rapid iteration with sustainable, maintainable code standards • Active participation in shaping product strategy and engineering culture Key Responsibilities • Architect and implement responsive, high‑performance UIs using React and TypeScript • Design reusable component libraries, state‑management patterns, and scalable frontend systems • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate AWS‑based services and APIs • Own feature ownership from concept through production deployment • Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing across engineering teams • Contribute to continuous improvement of the development process and tooling Required Skills • Deep proficiency in React (hooks, context, performance optimization) • Strong command of TypeScript, ES6+, and modern frontend tooling (webpack, Babel, etc.) • Experience with component‑based architecture, state‑management (Redux, Zustand, etc.) • Understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility, and cross‑browser compatibility • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS), serverless deployment, and API integration • Comfortable using CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker), and infrastructure as code (Terraform) • Bonus: Python or willingness to assist backend services Required Education & Certifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
