Job Description

**Job Title**: IT Systems Support Engineer **Role Summary**: Provide Tier 1 IT support, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain systems and infrastructure to ensure operational efficiency. **Expectations**: - Proven work experience in systems support engineering, desktop support, or IT help desk roles - Strong problem-solving and communication skills **Key Responsibilities**: - Deliver first-line helpdesk support via phone, email, or remote tools (e.g., Datto RMM) to resolve user issues - Escalate unresolved technical problems to appropriate resources - Manage user administration (RingCentral, Jamf, on-premises Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365) - Maintain antivirus, backup systems (Veeam/Datto), and network infrastructure - Execute hardware/software troubleshooting, local/remote equipment maintenance, and phone system configuration - Manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) via Jamf - Prioritize and document technical processes, manuals, and system knowledge **Required Skills**: - Proficiency in Windows OS and iOS device support - Basic troubleshooting of technical issues - Familiarity with on-premises Active Directory, remote management tools, VMWare, or similar technologies - Clear verbal and written communication for technical guidance **Required Education & Certifications**: - BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience - Certifications in Microsoft, VMware, or related technologies preferred
