Job title: Integration Engineer
Role Summary:
Design, develop, maintain and support enterprise‑scale data integrations for a SaaS platform. Focus on scalable, secure, and production‑ready API and event‑driven solutions across internal systems, customers, and third‑party partners.
Expectations:
*Mid‑Level*: Deliver and support integrations, collaborate with product, architecture and QA, adhere to CI/CD and Agile processes.
*Senior*: Own complex end‑to‑end integrations, set architecture standards, mentor junior engineers, influence design decisions, and drive best‑practice implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain scalable integration solutions using modern platforms (e.g., MuleSoft).
- Develop RESTful APIs, event‑driven connectors, and data transformation pipelines (JSON, XML, flat files).
- Ensure performance, security, and reliability of integrations in production.
- Collaborate across Product, Architecture, QA, and Platform teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
- For Senior candidates: mentor peers, lead architecture discussions, set integration best practices, and champion engineering excellence.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience with integration platforms (MuleSoft, similar).
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, messaging, and integration patterns.
- Data transformation skills (JSON, XML, flat files).
- Cloud platform exposure (Azure or AWS).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, SDLC practices.
- Agile team experience.
- Senior candidates: deep architectural expertise, end‑to‑end ownership, technical mentorship.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certifications in integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer) and cloud fundamentals (Azure/AWS) are preferred.
