Job Description
**Job Title:** Data Engineering Intern **Role Summary:** Assist the Operations team by maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and supporting analytics for a growing fleet of data collection vehicles over a 6‑month internship. **Expectations:** - Work 40 hours/week for a 6‑month term. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to test, report, and resolve software and data issues. - Deliver actionable insights through reports and data extracts. **Key Responsibilities:** - Execute and maintain scripts for indexing data from data collection vehicles. - Process and evaluate incoming data; document quality issues. - Collaborate with stakeholders to improve data cleansing and standardization. - Generate reports and data extracts to support analysis. - Document and optimize operational workflows. - Communicate findings and coordinate with teams on software release issues. **Required Skills:** - Proficient in Python and SQL. - Comfortable working in Linux environments. - Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities. - Problem‑solving mindset and adaptability to change. **Bonus Skills (Not required):** - Experience with radar, camera imagery, LIDAR, or point clouds. - Familiarity with Tableau. - Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Recent graduate or current graduate program enrollee in data science, data engineering, or related technical discipline.
