Job title: Network & Security Engineer
Role Summary:
Responsible for designing, deploying, and managing network and security infrastructures for a portfolio of clients. Balances Build (project implementation) and Run (operations & support) activities, ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant environments.
Expactations:
• 10 + years of progressive experience in network and security engineering.
• Proven track record of leading technical projects and providing N2/N3 operational support.
• Strong analytical, proactive, and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and in teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture, integration, deployment, and configuration of network and security solutions (firewalls, proxies, NAC, SD‑WAN, VPN, SD‑Access, etc.).
- Execute infrastructure migrations and environment transformations.
- Lead technical project lifecycle: planning, progress monitoring, adherence to technical guidelines, and delivery of deliverables.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation: architecture diagrams, flow matrices, HLD/LLD designs, run‑books, and SOPs.
- Maintain operational uptime: provide N2 support, resolve incidents (N2/N3), and coordinate escalations with internal or client teams.
- Drive continuous improvement: optimize performance, enhance reliability, and strengthen security posture.
Required Skills:
- Expertise with firewall/IPS/Proxy/NAC technologies (Checkpoint, PaloAlto, Efficient IP, Prisma Access, etc.).
- Proficiency in identity and access solutions (Cisco ISE, DNAC).
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure), orchestration (XSOAR, XDR), load balancing (HA‑Proxy, Aloha), Wi‑Fi (Unify), and secure remote access (Wallix, Prisma Access).
- Strong analytical mindset, meticulous documentation, and rigorous project management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; effective collaboration across cross‑functional teams.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Industry certifications strongly preferred: CCNA/CCNP, PaloAlto Certified Network Security Engineer, Checkpoint Certified Architect, CISSP, or equivalent.
