Job Title: Infrastructure Solution Architect (AWS)
Role Summary: Lead design, implementation, and governance of secure, scalable, and cost‑optimized AWS infrastructure for hybrid environments, collaborating with security, operations, development, and leadership teams to drive business innovation.
Expectations:
- Provide strategic AWS guidance and best‑practice recommendations.
- Mentor peers on architecture, cost optimization, and modernization.
- Manage cloud projects, budgets, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with governance and security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design secure, scalable, and cost‑effective AWS infrastructure aligned with business goals and compliance frameworks.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with developers, operations, security, and leadership teams.
- Promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Define reference architectures, network topology, and security/IAM policies across hybrid environments.
- Lead cloud infrastructure projects, cloud migration planning, and integration with on‑premises systems, interfacing with legacy systems such as Adobe, Salesforce, and SAP.
- Guide and mentor peers on AWS best practices, cost optimization, and architecture modernization.
- Oversee performance, vendor engagement, budget planning, and contract reviews for cloud services.
- Implement monitoring, disaster recovery, and operational excellence strategies in line with governance standards.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 10 years of IT infrastructure experience, 5+ years in AWS architecture/engineering.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Strong networking expertise (VPC, VPNs, Direct Connect, routing, firewalls).
- Hands‑on containerization (EKS, ECS, Kubernetes) and DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- System administration skills for Windows and Linux.
- Automation proficiency with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of security best practices, compliance standards, and identity management.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related IT field.
- Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional) preferred.
