Job Description
Job Title: Product Operations Data Analyst Role Summary: Transform user support and product usage data into actionable insights to optimize product roadmaps and operational strategies. Bridge gaps between Product, Engineering, and Operations through scalable analytics infrastructure and decision-grade intelligence. Expectations: 5+ years in analytics, business intelligence, or data science roles. Expertise in SQL and Python/R. Proven BI dashboard development experience. Ability to translate insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders. Cross-functional collaboration. Focus on automation and data governance. Key Responsibilities: - Design/maintain self-serve BI dashboards for KPI tracking and real-time analytics. - Analyze product usage patterns, AI model adoption, and user workflows to prioritize product development. - Define unified metrics taxonomy and build automated pipelines/scorecards for cross-functional alignment. - Conduct deep-dive analyses on user friction, support efficiency, and product performance. - Prototype analytics solutions (ChatGPT, Jupyter, etc.) and collaborate with engineering to scale. - Partner on predictive modeling and A/B testing to drive operational decisions. - Monitor support metrics (SLAs, resolution rates) to refine service delivery. Required Skills: - Expert SQL proficiency; strong Python/R for analysis/automation. - BI tool experience (Looker, Tableau, Mode). - Metrics framework design and performance measurement. - Cross-functional teamwork with engineering, product, and operations. - Data storytelling for technical/non-technical audiences. Required Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field. Certifications in BI tools or data analysis methodologies preferred but not required.
