Job Description
**Job Title:** Cloud Security Architect **Role Summary:** Design, implement, and govern secure cloud architectures for a global life‑sciences client, ensuring compliance with security standards, risk management, identity governance, and cryptographic services across enterprise cloud environments. **Expectations:** - Define and maintain cloud security frameworks and governance. - Align cloud designs with regulatory and corporate security requirements. - Lead risk assessments, remediation, and compliance reporting. - Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and platform teams to embed security controls. - Communicate security posture and recommendations to senior stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Create and update cloud security architecture and governance documentation. - Ensure secure configuration and operation of IaaS/PaaS services. - Manage identity platforms, certificate services, and key management systems. - Conduct vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and support remediation efforts. - Support audit and compliance initiatives (e.g., ISO 27001, HITRUST, GDPR). - Provide security guidance and training to cross‑functional teams. - Produce regular security governance reports and metrics. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience with enterprise cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Deep knowledge of IAM, PKI, certificate management, and KMS solutions. - Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and industry‑specific regulations for life sciences. - Strong risk assessment and vulnerability management capabilities. - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. - Ability to work in regulated environments and support compliance audits. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant certifications preferred: AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).
