Job Description
**Job Title** Account Manager – Belgium (Wallonia, Brussels & Luxembourg) **Role Summary** Account Manager responsible for driving growth of QuidelOrtho’s core laboratory and point‑of‑care businesses within the designated Belgian market. The role combines client relationship management, consultative selling, tender support and strategic expansion with internal collaboration across sales and technical teams. **Expectations** - Deliver measurable revenue growth and achieve targets set in the business plan. - Maintain and deepen relationships with existing customers while actively prospecting new accounts. - Operate with a high level of resilience, initiative and a “hunter” mindset to seize opportunities. - Ensure excellent customer experience throughout the sales cycle. **Key Responsibilities** - Grow core lab and POC accounts through strategic planning and execution. - Conduct consultative selling: present products, demonstrate value, and tailor solutions. - Provide tender support: prepare tender proposals, perform pricing calculations, and coordinate submissions. - Collaborate with Laboratory Specialists and Field Engineers to deliver integrated solutions. - Manage Salesforce CRM: maintain accurate data, forecast sales, and report results. - Share best practices and knowledge within the team to drive collective success. - Travel regionally as required for client visits, product demos and internal meetings. **Required Skills** - Proven account management or sales experience in a scientific/healthcare or diagnostic environment. - Strong background in core laboratory sales and tender processes. - Hunter‑type, results‑oriented attitude with high resilience and adaptability. - Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills. - Fluent in French; high proficiency in English; basic Dutch preferred but not mandatory. - Self‑motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in biology, diagnostics, healthcare, medical technologies or related field. - Relevant certifications in sales, account management or scientific disciplines are a plus but not required.
