**Job Title** Coordinator of Day‑Care Services (Day Centre) **Role Summary** Lead and coordinate multiple day‑care centers for older adults, overseeing a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high‑quality service delivery, managing budgets, and fostering community partnerships during a temporary 3‑month contract. **Expectations** - Proven management and team‑building experience, ideally within the medico‑social sector. - Strong understanding of adult care services, aging populations, and supporting networks. - Autonomous, organized, and able to align staff around a shared mission. - Excellent communication skills with clients, families, and partners. **Key Responsibilities** - **Team Management** • Lead, mentor, and evaluate ~15 professionals (animators, caregivers, drivers, psychologist, admin). - • Plan and facilitate regular team meetings; oversee staffing schedules, overtime, and leave coverage. - • Promote a positive workplace culture, address conflicts, and support professional development. - **Client & Family Support** • Ensure consistent, individualized care plans and monitor resident wellbeing. - • Coordinate trial days, schedule visits, and maintain regular communication with families. - **Administrative & Budget Oversight** • Track performance metrics (occupancy, complaints, incidents). - • Manage service budgets, review expenditures, and contribute to financial reporting. - **Quality Assurance** • Participate in institutional quality projects (service plans, incident reviews). - • Drive continuous improvement across service delivery and operational processes. - **Network & Partnership Development** • Promote day‑care services regionally; maintain and expand collaborations with local partners and respite platforms. - • Contribute ideas for program development and service expansion. **Required Skills** - Leadership & team coordination - Strategic planning & scheduling - Budgeting & financial acumen - Quality and risk management - Client‑centered communication - Problem‑solving & decision making - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic HR/management software **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Healthcare Administration, Gerontology, or related field. - Management qualification or proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a social or healthcare setting. - Familiarity with medico‑social regulations and best practices for eldercare.
