**Job Title** Business Development Manager – Military & Marine Business **Role Summary** Lead new revenue generation for military and marine solutions by sourcing, qualifying, and closing high‑value strategic accounts worldwide. Oversee a team of Regional Sales Managers, drive market intelligence, and partner with engineering & operations to expand product offerings. **Expectations** - Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets. - Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast. - Travel up to 50% worldwide, including U.S. military bases and shipyards. - Secure and manage Common Access Credential (CAC) and other security clearances. **Key Responsibilities** - Directly engage leads, convert to opportunities, and close new clients. - Supervise Regional Sales Managers, setting local market strategies and ensuring sales performance. - Conduct market research, identify gaps, and develop targeted account lists. - Collaborate with Customer Service, Compliance, Engineering, and Finance to onboard accounts and design product specifications. - Produce annual growth plans with strategic initiatives and three‑year outlooks. - Build and maintain senior‑level client relationships, manage feedback programs, and present technical solutions to stakeholders. - Coordinate cross‑site synergies with other business units to optimize offerings. **Required Skills** - Technical sales expertise (5+ years) with 3–5 years management experience. - Proven consultative selling in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments. - Deep knowledge of U.S. and foreign Department of Defense acquisition processes. - Strong verbal & written communication; experience delivering technical and sales presentations. - Ability to translate strategy into tactical action and manage cross‑functional teams. - Proficiency in market intelligence tools and CRM systems. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field. - Minimum of 5 years in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development. - Valid passport for international travel; credentials to obtain CAC and shipyard access. - Military experience preferred but not mandatory.
