Senior Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary**
Design, deploy, and evolve robust, secure, and highly available infrastructure for a rapidly scaling technology platform. Lead automation, monitoring, and incident resolution efforts while driving continuous improvement and aligning with the broader technical strategy.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 5 years in a senior infrastructure or DevOps role.
- Deep expertise in Linux (Debian/Ubuntu), networking, virtualization, and automation.
- Ability to produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Strong team collaboration, constructive technical challenge, and calm incident handling.
- Hands‑on coding mindset and continuous learning attitude.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Architect and deploy production and pre‑production environments.
- Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) pipelines for deployment, monitoring, and supervision.
- Maintain security, patching, uptime, and documentation of all services.
- Lead incident resolution and drive performance optimization.
- Contribute to technical strategy and infrastructure trade‑offs.
- Mentor and support the DevOps team.
- Monitor emerging infrastructure, DevSecOps, and hybrid‑cloud practices.
**Required Skills**
- Operating systems: Linux (Debian/Ubuntu), Windows Server.
- Scripting: Bash, Python, PHP, Go (Helm Charts), PowerShell.
- Container & Orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker.
- IaC & Automation: Terraform, Ansible, Cloudflare.
- Networking & Web: HTTP, NGINX, Apache, DNS, SSL/TLS, SSH, TCP/IP.
- Databases & Stores: MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, ElasticSearch, SQL Server, Solr.
- Monitoring & Logging: Grafana, Prometheus, Thanos, MinIO.
- CI/CD: GitLab CI, GitHub CI.
- Agile/Kanban process familiarity.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate, or equivalent DevOps/Cloud credentials are desirable.
