Job Description

Job title: Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer – Active TS/SCI Clearance Role Summary: Design, develop, and deploy production‑ready AI/ML solutions for DoD and national security missions. Transform raw data into actionable insights and integrate models into operational systems. Expectations: - Deliver high‑performance ML models within mission timelines. - Maintain continuous improvement through testing, tuning, and retraining. - Collaborate across technical and mission‑stakeholder teams. Key Responsibilities: - Build and optimize supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn. - Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation on large structured and unstructured datasets. - Create automated pipelines for model training, validation, and deployment. - Visualize results with dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or custom dashboards). - Conduct statistical analysis and data mining to validate model effectiveness. - Integrate AI/ML outputs into mission systems, ensuring reliability and security compliance. Required Skills: - Python or R programming (proficient). - Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn). - Strong knowledge of data preprocessing, feature selection, model evaluation, and performance tuning. - Data visualization expertise (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent). - Ability to analyze & manage large datasets, both structured and unstructured. - Excellent problem‑solving, attention to detail, and communication with cross‑functional teams. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field. - 5+ years of hands‑on AI/ML model development and deployment. - Active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship. ---
