Job Description

**Job Title:** Contract Senior Security Analyst / SOC Lead **Role Summary:** Lead advanced security operations, incident response, and threat analysis for a 6-month contract role in the financial services industry. **Expectations:** 10+ years of security operations/IT experience with expertise in incident response, threat analysis, and leadership. Proficiency in security tools and cloud environments. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyze and resolve complex security incidents, triage events, and coordinate incident response. - Manage and optimize EDR solutions (CrowdStrike) and SIEM tools (Elasticsearch) for threat detection. - Conduct threat hunting, phishing analysis, and investigations to mitigate risks. - Strengthen vulnerability management, DLP strategies (Cyberhaven), and email security (Abnormal). - Develop SOC playbooks/runbooks and mentor junior team members. **Required Skills:** - Cybersecurity tools: CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Elasticsearch, Tenable One, Cyberhaven, Abnormal. - Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud environments. - Leadership/mentorship, cross-functional collaboration, and independent problem-solving in high-pressure scenarios. **Required Education & Certifications:** Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or related field. CISSP, GCIH, or equivalent certifications preferred.
