Job Title: VCSP Habitat – Construction Law Lawyer Role Summary: Provide legal support for public and private construction procurement, negotiating contracts, managing disputes, and training operational teams within a large housing and infrastructure organization. Expectations: Deliver timely, accurate legal advice; maintain strong relationships with operational stakeholders; uphold high standards of professionalism and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze public and private tender dossiers and global contracts (design‑build). - Participate in contract negotiations (works, sub‑contracting, joint ventures, agreements). - Draft correspondence, offer legal counsel, and assist operational staff with contract questions. - Manage pre‑contentious and contentious matters in collaboration with lawyers, insurers, and brokers; participate in amicable or judicial meetings. - Conduct internal training sessions for operational and corporate staff. - Perform ongoing legal monitoring of construction and real‑estate regulations. Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of French construction, real‑estate, and public procurement law. - Proficiency in contract drafting, negotiation, and dispute resolution. - Excellent analytical, organizational, and autonomous working style. - Effective communication, listening, and stakeholder‑management abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Master 2 (or equivalent) in Real‑Estate or Construction Law. - Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in the construction/real‑estate legal sector.
