Job Description
**Job title:** Data Analyst **Role Summary:** Support the BI roadmap by designing and maintaining dashboards, performing deep analytical dives, and delivering actionable insights across functional teams. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality, scalable reporting assets that align with the established star schema and KPI definitions. - Prioritize and execute on stakeholder requests in collaboration with the BI Director and cross‑functional partners. - Contribute to forecasting, cohort analysis, and strategic initiatives that influence senior leadership decisions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and iterate dashboards and reports in Metabase (or equivalent BI tools) aligned with the star schema. - Define reporting requirements, document specifications, and manage deliverable prioritization. - Conduct ad hoc analytics to answer questions on member retention, campaign performance, and regional engagement. - Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data models for reporting and advanced analytics. - Support forecasting and cohort modeling through historical trend analysis. - Validate data quality, snapshot logic, and model consistency in partnership with IT. - Maintain the KPI catalog and business logic documentation. - Train and assist internal users in leveraging dashboards and self‑service capabilities. - Participate in quarterly roadmap and prioritization reviews. **Required Skills:** - Strong SQL proficiency and experience with relational databases. - Expertise in BI tools (Metabase, Tableau, Power BI). - Knowledge of data science concepts and machine learning/AI techniques (preferred). - Experience analyzing marketing, membership, or customer engagement data. - Ability to work with incomplete or inconsistent data and reconcile across systems. - Excellent communication and collaborative teamwork skills. - Experience with dbt and/or Salesforce data is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field. - 5–7 years of experience in an analytical or business intelligence role. - Experience in multinational or non‑U.S. organizations preferred.
