Job Description
**Job Title:** ServiceNow Platform Developer **Role Summary:** Develop, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow platform for North America Operations, ensuring alignment with standards and operational priorities. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions, support automation, and drive continuous improvement. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality ServiceNow solutions adhering to coding and architectural standards. - Maintain accurate CMDB data and support asset lifecycle processes. - Participate in cross‑functional projects and occasional travel (<5%) for training or stakeholder engagement. - Stay current on ServiceNow releases, industry trends, and security/compliance requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow applications across modules (Request, Case, Change, FSM). - Manage Configuration Items in the CMDB and ensure data integrity. - Implement and optimize Work Order Management and other automation workflows. - Perform root‑cause analysis, troubleshoot platform issues, and optimize performance. - Produce and maintain documentation; support UAT, release validation, and production deployments. - Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using ServiceNow APIs and version‑control tools (GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps). - Identify process improvement opportunities and assist in their implementation. **Required Skills:** - 3+ years ServiceNow development and administration experience. - Proficiency in JavaScript, Flow Designer, Business Rules, UI Policies, and Data Import Sets. - Strong understanding of CMDB architecture, ITIL processes, and asset management. - Experience with ServiceNow modules: Request, Case, Change, Field Service Management. - Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tooling for ServiceNow. - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and collaborative communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA). - ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD). - Preferred: ServiceNow Field Service Management Implementer (CIS) and ITIL v4 Foundation or higher.
