Job Description

Job Title: Software Engineer, Platform Role Summary: Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and cloud infrastructure to modernize legacy platforms, support AI-driven media experiences, and deliver robust, testable solutions in a cross‑functional environment. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality, maintainable code; adhere to CI/CD, automated testing, and best practices; collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and senior engineers; stay current with emerging technologies; troubleshoot production issues. Key Responsibilities: - Migrate legacy components to microservices or serverless architectures. - Design, develop, test, and deploy TypeScript/Node.js backend services, including geolocation features. - Build and maintain IaC‑driven cloud infrastructure with Terraform on AWS. - Implement and expose RESTful/GraphQL APIs. - Support AI‑powered media pipelines and backend APIs. - Participate in code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring. - Troubleshoot technical issues in dev and prod environments. Required Skills: - 2‑5 years professional backend development experience. - Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js ecosystem. - Experience with Terraform and AWS cloud services. - Ability to develop RESTful/GraphQL APIs and work with relational/PostgreSQL or NoSQL/MongoDB databases. - Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, system design). - Problem‑solving, effective communication, and collaboration abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
