Job Description
Job Title: Software Engineer Role Summary: Design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable Java-based applications that automate and streamline healthcare and pharmacy workflows, enhancing operational efficiency and patient outcomes. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality, secure, and performant code across the full SDLC; collaborate with product owners and cross‑functional teams; maintain and evolve existing systems; troubleshoot and resolve production issues; stay current with automation, integration, and emerging AI technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Design and build automated solutions for healthcare and pharmacy systems. - Translate business requirements into functional, technical specifications. - Implement, unit‑test, and maintain Java, SQL, and web‑application code. - Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and continuous improvement of engineering practices. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve defects and performance bottlenecks. - Integrate with REST/SOAP services, microservices, and external systems. - Contribute to documentation, architecture decisions, and adoption of best practices. Required Skills: - 3+ years of software engineering experience. - Strong proficiency in Java, SQL (MS SQL Server), and web‑application development. - Experience with Java EE, Spring, Hibernate, REST/SOAP, JBoss, Eclipse. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and full SDLC. - Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. - Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities. - Interest in automation, workflow optimization, and AI applications. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. - (No mandatory certifications, however industry or technology certifications may be considered.)
