Job Description

**Job Title:** Software Test Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, execute, and document test strategies for mission-critical software and system testing in high-assurance environments (rail, aerospace, defense). Focus on verification and validation of SCADA, real-time systems, and IT/OT converged platforms. **Expectations:** 3+ years in validating safety-critical systems (e.g., rail, aviation) using rigorous testing methodologies. Must produce compliant technical documentation and collaborate cross-functionally. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define component, integration, system, and acceptance test strategies. - Develop test scenarios, scripts, and automated test tools. - Execute test campaigns, analyze results, and report findings. - Track and resolve defects, aligning with quality and safety standards. - Participate in technical reviews, audits, and compliance assessments. - Coordinate with development, quality, and security teams to ensure product integrity. **Required Skills:** - Programming (scripting/test automation preferred). - Technical writing for test plans, reports, and requirements documentation. - Knowledge of safety-critical system testing (e.g., SIL2–SIL4, ISO 26262). - Familiarity with EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129 standards. - Critical thinking, attention to detail, and teamwork. **Required Education & Certifications:** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Preferred: Experience with MathWorks tools (MATLAB/Simulink) or automation frameworks.
