**Job Title:** SAP BTP Developer
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and maintain cloud‑native applications on SAP Business Technology Platform. Provide technical support, enhancements, and integration of SAP BTP applications with SAP and non‑SAP systems, ensuring optimal performance and data consistency across the ecosystem.
**Expectations:**
- Min. 5 years SAP development experience, with at least 2 years on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry.
- Proven track record of maintaining or enhancing live BTP applications.
- Valid SAP BTP certification or completion of relevant coursework is preferred.
- Experience in Agile or DevOps environments.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver ongoing technical support and maintenance for CAPM, RAP, Fiori, and Node.js based BTP applications.
- Create and extend services using CAP (Node.js or Java), UI5/Fiori, and CDS views.
- Design, load, and optimize data models in SAP HANA Cloud; troubleshoot data issues.
- Manage application lifecycle: coding, testing (unit and integration), CI/CD, and releases.
- Integrate BTP services with SAP Integration Suite, S/4HANA, SuccessFactors and other SAP/non‑SAP systems using IAM, OData, and APIs.
- Employ SAP Business Application Studio, Git, and SAP Build for development and version control.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure proper role-based authorization and identity services configuration.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong proficiency in CAP, SAP Fiori/UI5, and SAP HANA Cloud.
- Expertise in Node.js or Java development, including experience with Spring or Express as appropriate.
- Deep knowledge of CDS views, OData services, and application lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with SAP Business Application Studio, Git, SAP Build, and Cloud Foundry tooling.
- Ability to optimize data models and troubleshoot SAP HANA Cloud performance issues.
- Experience with SAP Integration Suite, IAS, API connectivity, and S/4HANA extensions.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- SAP BTP certification (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate – Integration Suite) or equivalent coursework.
- Understanding of SAP security, identity services, and role/authorization concepts.
