Job Description
**Job Title:** ServiceNow Developer **Role Summary:** Proactive professional responsible for designing, building, and maintaining ServiceNow applications and platform administration. Ensures optimal performance, data integrity, and user support while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions. **Expectations:** - Hybrid schedule: 4 days on‑site (Cambridge, ON) + 1 day remote. - 5+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow development and admin experience. - Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and communicate effectively with technical and business teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and deploy custom ServiceNow apps, workflows, and integrations (REST/SOAP). - Customize core modules (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Knowledge, Service Catalog). - Write and maintain scripts (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, etc.). - Perform platform administration: user/role management, routine maintenance, upgrades, patches, and performance monitoring. - Ensure data integrity, compliance, and system security. - Provide end‑user support, training, and troubleshooting. - Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications. **Required Skills:** - Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture and modules. - Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting. - Experience with ServiceNow integrations via REST and SOAP APIs. - Excellent problem‑solving and communication abilities. - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in an Agile/Scrum environment (preferred). **Required Education & Certifications:** - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or higher certification preferred. - Relevant post‑secondary education or equivalent professional experience in IT/service management.
