Job Description
**Job title** Data Operations Specialist **Role Summary** Support day‑to‑day data operations for a digital advertising analytics platform. Own pixel tracking implementation, maintain reporting workflows, and manage internal time‑tracking data. Ensure accurate data capture and system reliability to enable performance measurement and client billing. **Expectations** - 2+ years in digital analytics, ad operations, or technical operations roles. - Strong motivation for ownership, data accuracy, and workflow optimisation. - Ability to work independently and communicate technical details to non‑technical stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** - Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot tracking pixels and conversion tags across major platforms (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, etc.). - Operate and continuously optimise internal data reporting workflows and associated documentation. - Maintain the internal time‑tracking system to ensure precise resourcing and billing data. - Create and update technical workflow documentation for cross‑functional teams. - Collaborate with teams via Slack to streamline operational tasks using automation where possible. - Integrate data sources using REST APIs for basic data extraction and reporting. **Required Skills** - Expert proficiency in Google Tag Manager (deployment, debugging, triggers, variables). - Advanced knowledge of pixel tracking implementation and troubleshooting on Meta, Google Ads, etc. - High proficiency in Google Sheets (complex formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation). - Experience with data visualization tools (Looker Studio/Google Data Studio or Tableau). - Familiarity with Slack and workflow automation. - Working knowledge of REST APIs for data integration. - Strong documentation skills for explaining technical workflows to non‑technical audiences. - Self‑starter, detail‑oriented, and driven by data accuracy and system reliability. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in information systems, marketing analytics, computer science, or related field (preferred). - Certifications in Google Tag Manager or similar digital advertising platforms are a plus.
