Job Description: Job title: Software Engineer Role Summary: Build and maintain high‑quality backend and supporting frontend components for CoverMyMeds’ healthcare delivery applications. Lead design, implementation, automated testing, deployment, and ongoing support within an agile, cross‑functional team focused on innovation and continuous improvement. Expectations: 4+ years of professional web development experience with a strong backend focus; demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a fast‑paced, iterative environment; strong communication skills to explain technical decisions to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders; a culture of learning and constructive feedback. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and ship backend services (Ruby on Rails, Node) and associated frontend features using JavaScript/TypeScript. - Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, acceptance) to ensure code quality and reliability. - Deploy code continuously to production environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform, monitoring performance and uptime. - Collaborate with product, design, QA, and ops teams to deliver features that meet user needs and business goals. - Maintain and refactor existing codebases, troubleshoot production issues, and provide post‑release support. - Mentor junior developers, share knowledge, and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
