**Job Title:** Sales Planner
**Role Summary:** Manages end-to-end advertising partnerships and client service for a global media brand. Supports sales and account management teams by handling sales proposals, contracts, campaign management, and client communication. Ensures alignment with business objectives and client KPIs.
**Expectations:**
- Support integrated sales and account management teams through media plans, presentations, and sales proposals.
- Prepare strategic, customized proposals for RFPs, balancing client goals and pricing integrity.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally (branded content, Insights, events, sales operations) to drive proposals to Insertion Orders (IOs).
- Analyze inventory availability, traffic patterns, and data to optimize media planning.
- Maintain daily client communication from pre-sale to post-sale execution, including negotiations, inventory verification, and campaign delivery.
- Develop contracts, IOs, and agreements with accurate legal and programmatic details.
- Manage inventory bookings, campaign pacing, billing, and performance reporting.
- Accompany Sales Reps/Account Managers on sales calls and handle administrative tasks (database management, event planning).
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Create media plans, proposals, and marketing collateral to secure advertising partnerships.
- Execute client-facing pre-sale and post-sale workflows, including RFP responses and campaign execution.
- Facilitate handoffs between sales, operations, and client teams to ensure timely campaign delivery.
- Liaise with Ad Operations for inventory availability and Ad Operations transitions.
- Coordinate with internal teams to analyze data, benchmarks, and case studies for proposal development.
- Administer contract creation, revisions, and compliance with legal requirements.
- Support sales processes via internal client communications, event planning, and database updates.
**Required Skills:**
- Strategic proposal development for digital advertising partnerships.
- Digital sales planning, campaign management, or agency/publisher experience.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, reporting tools (e.g., Media Radar, ComScore), Excel, PowerPoint.
- Strong project management, time management, and organization of complex deliverables.
- Exceptional verbal/written communication and client relationship management.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with accuracy under deadlines.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- 1+ years in strategic planning, digital sales, or campaign management (agency or publisher experience preferred).
