Job Description
Job Title: Business Analyst – Annuities Role Summary: Lead process improvement initiatives for insurance operations, focusing on business efficiency, data visualization, and stakeholder collaboration to drive operational modernization in a remote insurance organization. Expectations: Proven ability to optimize business processes, analyze complex insurance data, and deliver actionable insights. Must possess annuity product expertise, strong project management acumen, and technical proficiency in business analysis tools. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to gather requirements and map end-to-end processes. - Design and implement workflow optimizations, automation, and data-driven reporting (Power BI/Tableau). - Manage projects from inception to delivery, tracking KPIs/OKRs and mitigating risks. - Create journey maps, dashboards, and documentation to support decision-making. - Monitor and integrate data from SaaS platforms (e.g., iPipeline) and API systems. - Present findings and solutions to stakeholders through clear, data-backed presentations. Required Skills: - 7–10+ years’ experience in business analysis or product operations within insurance. - Advanced Excel and Power BI/Tableau skills for data visualization and analysis. - Deep understanding of annuity products, operations, and insurance data. - Project management capabilities (agile/scrum experience a plus). - Data interpretation and workflow redesign expertise. - Proficiency in stakeholder engagement, documentation, and cross-functional coordination. - API/hosting platform familiarity (monitoring and integration). Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field preferred, not required. - No mandatory certifications.
