Job title: System Administrator (M/F)
Role Summary: Ensure stability, performance, and security of the company's IT infrastructure in the health sector. Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud environments and Linux systems while automating deployment and configuration processes. Collaborate with development and security teams to integrate new features, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and uphold rigorous documentation and incident resolution procedures.
Expectations: Deliver continuous improvements, proactive monitoring, and instant issue resolution. Maintain meticulous documentation, adopt best practices, and stay informed about evolving cloud and security technologies. Show strong analytical, organizational, and collaborative skills in a fast‑moving technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and provision AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, RDS, ELB, etc.).
- Automate deployment pipelines and configuration using infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure changes.
- Integrate new features with existing systems in partnership with dev teams.
- Optimize performance, capacity, and security of all environments.
- Produce and update technical documentation and operational playbooks.
- Monitor systems, investigate incidents, and manage root‑cause resolution.
- Participate in threat‑vector assessment and remediation.
- Provide guidance on best practices for reliability and audit compliance.
Required Skills
- 5+ years in system administration, preferably within health or regulated industries.
- Advanced proficiency in Linux distributions (Debian, RedHat, or equivalent).
- Deep knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Hands‑on experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipeline tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and conduct knowledge sharing.
- Strong troubleshooting, prioritization, and communication skills.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, RedHat Certified Engineer, or Ansible Automation) are desirable.
