**Job Title:** Networks Operations Analyst - Sandwich Degree **Role Summary:** 12-month placement for students to gain hands-on experience in enterprise network operations and security engineering, focusing on monitoring, automation, and incident response. **Expectations:** Full-time commitment during academic placement year; on-site work required. **Key Responsibilities:** - Monitor network infrastructure performance and health. - Investigate and resolve live incidents and alerts. - Troubleshoot hardware/software issues with vendors. - Manage connectivity and service provider operations. - Handle support tickets, change requests, and interconnect deployments. - Enhance operational tooling using Arista CloudVision, Prometheus, Victoria Metrics, Grafana. - Automate processes via Python, Ansible, Git, Jenkins. - Perform maintenance tasks for system compliance. **Required Skills:** - Foundational knowledge of switching, routing, and network concepts. - Structured workflow with strong organizational capabilities. - Problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills. - Proficiency in automation tools (Python, Ansible, Git, Jenkins). - Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana). - Ability to learn new technologies in high-performance environments. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Pursuing a sandwich-degree program in Computer Science, Computer Systems, Cyber Security, Networking, or related field. - Expected graduation: 2029. - Progress toward certifications (CCNA, Network+) preferred.
