Job Description
**Job Title:** Director of Sales & Partnerships **Role Summary:** Lead go‑to‑market strategy and commercial growth for CoEditor’s media‑tech platform. Build and manage the full sales cycle, secure enterprise and strategic partnerships, and position the solution as the preferred choice for publishing and media organisations worldwide. **Expactations:** - Demonstrated success in B2B SaaS or media‑technology sales. - Ability to operate autonomously in a fast‑moving startup, shaping processes and strategy. - Strong commercial mindset with a results‑driven, proactive attitude. - Excellent communication skills for senior executive and editorial stakeholder engagement. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and execute the sales and partnership strategy, targeting publishing, media, and creator businesses. - Build, qualify, and manage a robust pipeline from prospecting to contract closure, including enterprise deals. - Develop and nurture strategic partnerships and alliances to expand market reach. - Collaborate with leadership, product, and marketing teams to align messaging and product positioning. - Provide regular forecasts, reporting, and insights to senior management. - Represent CoEditor at industry events and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility. **Required Skills:** - Proven B2B sales track record (SaaS, media tech, or digital platforms). - Expertise in translating technical product features into commercial value propositions. - Experience managing end‑to‑end sales cycles and negotiating high‑value contracts. - Knowledge of the publishing ecosystem (subscription management, media operations, bureaus) – strong advantage. - Strong relationship‑building and negotiation abilities. - Self‑starter with ability to thrive in a startup environment. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - No specific certifications required; sales or SaaS certifications are a plus.
